-ganon95- Tetris Song B

"Hm."

date: June 9, 2008

This song seemed short of layering and diversity. I think more time should have been spent on remaking it completely by rearranging and adding multiple leads. I did like the bell use for the lead but the use of reverb and hold on it makes it a little to loud. The end is kinda disappointing since there really is no climax within the song.

I actually did a remake of a Tetris song. You should check it out. It may be something to reference off.

I enjoyed this alot. Everything but one instrument was fantastic on this.

About 1:33 was when it hit....and it kinda threw it off for me. Other than that the rest was great man.

If you got the time, stop by my page and check out Morphine. You might like it.

Well, looks like you did it again. This doesnt sound that good..

I mean...why even bother with the demo? Why not work hard on understand whatever software you might have or downloaded, probably FL Studio or Reason, and making a good full length track that has depth or even an ounce of excitement.

"Presets?"

date: July 17, 2007

Using presets and claiming its your song is NOT cool.

Enough said. Not even worthy of a track due to the repedative looping.

submission: SFOD Theme

Seriously man. Slicing that ONE sample and replaying it over and over again with no change in tone or even a quick drop and rise was horrible.

And the background didnt seemed too polished either. Was it an arp with a vocorder filter over it? Wasn't that good.

So....the good thing was the beginning. Started off pretty well but just repeated and became annoying.

"Nice job."

date: June 6, 2007

Love the drop kick you have with the pure trance lead.

There is a section where you could have sliced the vocals and rearranged them to align them so it wouldnt sound off..but its still good.

Check me out. You might like my latest song I added Called Tetris Remake.

Keep up the work.

Late Night Clubbin' PREVIEW

"Heh. Nice"

date: April 11, 2007

The beginning kept my head bobbing.
Then after the ripple break, it was still good...but seemed a little disappointing. I was hoping for some really hard bass or a nice synth gated....but yet I was left with the exact same thing you built it up with.

Great song besides that one flaw. Do you use Native Instruments? I think I noticed it with the ripple.

Author's Response:

Nope. I have used Absynth before, but I don't have it anymore. I actually used a synth called Blue to do that. This piece was more experimental. I'm not too great with Techno, but I'm trying to teach myself. Check back to my page in a couple of weeks. I'll probably have a much better Techno/Trance piece up by then.

"Very nicely done."

date: December 29, 2006

First of all, I want to thank you two for checking out my audio. For me, I rarely get any reviews and downloads so even just one makes me very happy. So, thank you again.

Now, this song.......its wonderful. The diversity of melodies going on and synth switches are perfect. Layering done perfectly and beginning giving it a epic feel.

I congratulate you two on this piece; by far one of the best I have heard in awhile. If you guys ever have the time, check out the audio forum here on Newgrounds. Every month there is a contest going on and you guys would be awesome.

Your fellow composer,
~Chris Orosco

Author's Response:

Hmm you've changed your name, weren't you fr3kn before?

the review we left you, Not a problem! out of the number of artists on here, a lot of them seem unwilling to spare a few minutes to listen to other artists work, to also leave a review, reviews can be very helpful. If it is possible to offer some advice or to tell the artist how pleased you are with what you hear coming from their page, it can be a great help to the artist. as a boost to let them know they've done good, or as word in their ear to tell them where they might be going wrong. It's all a learning process, if you can help others to release their own true potential, then you as an artist are doing your job, to help others to do there's

We really appreciate you coming and checking our work, it's very, very much appreciated. we would like to invite you to continue checking out our page, as we shall continue to work together to release new material

Thank you ChrisOrosco for your kind words and your review :D

Don't forget to keep up with the music making yourself, we shall continue to check in on you

Fake Symphony

"Holy shit"

submission: Fake Symphony
date: October 11, 2006

Right when I listened to this, I fell in love.

I love the synthed snare loop and how you flanged it. Very nicely done. The Reversed Symphony was a nice erie touch.

Again, not much diversity when it comes to progress besides the occasional switch of the loops and step sequences.

I would love to grab ahold of this one and slice it to make something even bigger.

Love it, none the less.

Your Fellow Composer,
Chris
